Minden este fáradt baktatással
Elvonulnak ablakom előtt,
Feketén és fehéren kocognak
És nem látnak soha engem ők.

Nem tudják, hogy felleg jár az égen
És kigyúlnak fönn a csillagok,
Nem tudják, hogy nyílnak az akácok
S kémény füstje égbe kanyarog.

Minden este jönnek nagy csapatban,
A szemükben egy bánat borong
S ami bennük elmondatlanul fáj,
Monoton zokogja a kolomp.
